Dustless sandblasting differs from conventional dry sandblasting in one very important way. Buy using a mixture of water, abrasive media, and compressed air, frictional heat is reduced to almost nil. In dry sandblasting, the impact of abrasive to the substrate causes frictional heat, which can warp the surface. Wet sandblasting eliminates that issue.
Another advantage of using dustless sandblasting for our Central Valley customers is no dust is created during blasting. In dry sandblasting, the area needs to be contained, so breathable dust is kept inside the work area. Wet blasting suppresses the particulate created in sandblasting.
Lastly, our wet blast methodology is environmentally friendly. The media we use is free of crystalline silica, and cleanup is easier and less wasteful than in dry sandblasting.
Here are a few of the abrasive blasting applications we provide.
